Well, we wrapped up the 2008 HPM season in style last night—New York strip steak, BBQ salad, fire roasted corn, and steamers. We had a little trouble getting the water hot enough for the steamers, but we improvised (as you can see below) and they turned out great. Erik Hoskins won last night and Rich Girvin and Don Norris tied for second. You can see the complete results here. Thanks to everyone who came out to shoot this year, it was a wonderful time.

Erik Hoskins applies some “firepower” to the steamers. Thanks to Bill Burow for supplying the mapp gas.

Hey,
Thank you Dan for hosting the the HPM series. You have come up with a great concept. A little low pressure smallbore match followed up with good food and intense BS. I have really enjoyed the matches this summer. Thanks again.
Rich
Thanks, Rich. There certainly was a lot of BS!
