Shooter Spotlight: Leonard Remaly

Leonard Remaly was designated an NRA Smallbore Distinguished Position Rifleman in 1985. He began his shooting career as a member of the Northeastern University Rifle Club and Team in the early 1960s. Len has been a competitor at almost every one of the locations that his professional career has taken him. He enjoyed a brief and successful fling with Armbrustschützen, international crossbow competition. Len has also enriched the sport by coaching juniors for many years.  He has been a mainstay of the Precision Shooting Smallbore Prone Rifle Team at Camp Perry for many years and is a principal reason that team has enjoyed. In addition to his team honors he won the Robert K. Moore Trophy in 2007 indicative of the National Rifle Association Senior Three Position National Outdoor Championship. A man of many talents, the retired engineer, when off of the range, devotes considerable energy into his hobby of brewing beer then testing, and tasting the fruits of his labors.
