It appears that the ace Southeast reporter did not report this match. He was off site making noise at a long range match. Just can’t get good help these days.

Worse than that is sad to see a talented smallbore rifleman wander off onto the dark side.

      • Dennis Lindenbaum says:

So many bullets, so little time. For those that don’t know, they actually have places where you lie down in the hot sun and shoot at targets that are 1000 yards away. Just a short 5 minute drive in your car; no more walking back and forth. Gotta like that. There are a dozen or so wind changes between you and the target. As long as it is an even number, you don’t have to make any sight adjustments because they all just cancel each other out. You only need to worry about sunburn and the coriolis effect.

        • Hap says:

          Dennis,

Been there, done that, and I even have the T shirt to prove it.

I’d chew tin foil while shaving my head with a cheese grater before I return to the dark side.

It is loud, uncomfortable, and dirty. It is just too vulger for one of my delicate sensabilities.

I’d as soon not participate in a sport where masochism is part of the required skill set.

          Hap
