The 73rd Annual Black Hawk Rifle Club Tournament was contested at the River Bend Rifle Club over the weekend of April 20-21st. T.S. Eliot wrote that “April is the cruellest month” and the tricky winds and very low temperatures gave some truth to his writings.

The Crossfire Award was well traveled going to Fred Scharpenberg then Jim Miller, and finally to Don Learner.
Jim Miller claims a Black hawk first in that he is the only person to have win the Crossfire Award and be awarded a silver dollar for a 200-20X at the same event.
The Black Hawks wish to thank the River Bend Club and Tom Steadman and his hard working band of helpers.
