Just got off the Butner NC 1000 yard range (today is day one of NC Long Range State Championships) and I have NEVER been so cold in my entire life for 50 degree temps!!! I digress…

The stock in photos is much prettier than photos show, the paint job is really nice. The lucky buyer will love it, as the paint really jumps out. Megan has taken very good care of her gear, always transports the rifle in hardside case, so paint is in excellent condition. The cheek piece adjusts via a thumb wheel, so you can raise and lower it while in shooting position to get that perfect head postion. The butt plate goes in and out and up and down, and rotates as well. Whoever buys this stock won't be disappointed.

Long story short I got an air rifle recently and it is in aluminum stock totally different than my smallbore rifle. Kent advised me that it would be best if both rifles had same fit and feel, and did some research and found a smallbore rifle that has stock almost identical to my air rifle. I just started shooting it. It is Anschutz 2013 action and I’m having fun learning all the adjustments on the stock.

The stock you see in the picture is for sale if anyone can use it. Just the stock, not anything else! It will be a good stock for another kid that has a petite build like me. I’m selling it inexpensively to try to help someone. The Anschutz 1903 barreled action will fit it. Contact me at southernbell_94@yahoo.com if you are interested.

Kent found the stock from Randy Gregory, a shooter friend and gunsmith he knows. Kent also got butt plate hardware and cheek piece hardware from Randy. That was the beginning of what you see in the picture. He cut off rear of the butt stock to fit my shorter build. He cut off forearm and made it shorter, you can’t see that in the picture but it was done too. My brother helped by cutting cheek piece on his band saw. My brother builds bows and is really good with wood working. If anyone wants a bow, his website is http://www.leebowyer.com. Kent installed the butt plate and cheek piece hardware and Devcon epoxy bedded the action to make it shoot better. He gave the stock back to me and I took over from there and did some painting on it, but never really liked the result. My Dad knew this guy who does painting, mostly helmet paint jobs. That is the paint job you see in the picture. I told the painter I wanted some stars on it and let him use his imagination.
